An SEAI wall and attic insulation directory with a 3-step grant checker, built to turn grant and cost searches into contractor enquiries.
The brief
SEAI wall insulation grants are worth up to several thousand euro, but the eligibility rules confuse most homeowners: year built, wall type and home type all matter. The information was scattered, and there was no simple way to check what applied to a specific house.
On top of that, the register of approved contractors was not browseable by county in any homeowner-friendly way, and no directory tied the grant information to the local contractor who could actually claim it.
The gap was a single place to check your grant eligibility in seconds and find an SEAI-registered insulation contractor in your county.
What I built
Every contractor registered under the SEAI Better Energy Homes scheme for wall insulation, each with an individual profile showing services, location, contact details and content tailored to their county and insulation type.
A landing page for each of the 26 counties, showing local contractor counts by insulation type, grant amounts, and original copy driven by live data. No two county pages have the same content.
Three questions, year built, home type, wall type, and an instant result showing which SEAI grants apply and the exact amounts. No account, no form gate, no sales call. Built to convert the homeowner who is still in research mode.

Unclaimed profiles are marked clearly with a banner and a one-click mailto claim. This creates an ongoing lead-generation system that rewards the site as it grows.
Every page is built with JSON-LD, a clear heading hierarchy, and internal linking that flows authority from guides to county pages to profiles. Designed to rank on keyword-level queries before it had a single backlink.

Once a homeowner sees the grant they qualify for, the local contractor directory is the obvious next step. The guides feed authority into the county pages, and the checker turns research-stage visitors into enquiries.

All 584 pages build in seconds from a structured dataset and deploy to the edge. No CMS, no runtime queries, no infrastructure to maintain. A homeowner in Leitrim gets the same fast response as one in Dublin.
Every contractor profile is drawn from the official SEAI Better Energy Homes registered-contractor list, so each county launched with complete, authoritative coverage rather than a handful of self-submitted listings.
County pages are generated from live data, contractor counts, insulation types and grant amounts, so no two read the same. That is what lets 26 near-identical page types each rank in their own right.
